Men have to wear underwear for support of their genitals. Women have to wear bra to support their breasts. I do not understand why women have to wear panties as they do not have anything to support. Just like men, they do not wear bra as they do not have anything to support. Can anyone answer this?

They wear panties so they can sell Pantie liners.
Also, Lets remember what lies behind them glorious lips in alive and does some mighty strange things. I mean that thing can even fart a long other kinds of trick.
I saw a women smoke a cigar with hers. That's right!!!
Puffed and blew smoke with her P.........!!!
Some of the Asian women have sporting events using their whatshacallit. Like shooting darts and blow out candles to name a couple.
Then there are the many ways in which it leaks and drips down at the Y.
So, there isn't much to some of the panties the ladies wear but, they are necessary most of the time.

Men wear shorts to keep the brown spots off of there pants at the inside crotch.
For some strange stupid reason the women don't get them brown spots.

You are making some assumptions, Carl. If you have "perkies" you don't necessarily need a bra. That's why I don't wear them. And you are right, why wear panties? Actually, I wear them sometimes, because if I'm sitting without panties and a hot guy comes along with a big bulge in front, I'm going to leave a kum-track on the chair. That is impolite. On the other hand if I'm standing, and I orgasm, it will run down my leg or my pantie hose will stick to me.

Your assumptions are wrong - guys do not necessarily have to wear underwear for support (e.g. can wear boxers). Our balls would not get saggy if they bounce around a bit. However, we still do need (or should at least) wear it for cleanliness. I'll let you use your imagination on that one. For the same reason, women need, or should wear panties as well. However, if they do not wear bras, the collagen in their breasts get stretched and they get saggier over time (more than the natural course). of course some wear it for fashion as well (push-ups). Then again, there is also the social factors such as their nipples not showing.

Blue jeans are rough on sensitive "areas". Most sane women do not enjoy getting frontal wedgies! Also, there is something called cervical mucus, more commonly known as vaginal discharge, that comes out of the vagina and deposits itself on a woman's underwear. Some women have a lot of discharge and have to wear pantie liners to keep from wetting down their clothes. So, the reason most women wear panties is to be comfortable and to avoid any embarrassing spots on their clothes.

They are essentially similar garments. I think the difference is in the way people feel about them -- a bikini is meant for other people to see in public whereas the bra and panties are considered underwear and not something you go showing everyone all the time. Fabric-wise, many bra and panties are quite sheer and see-through whereas standard bikinis are generally a solid material. Of course, there are many bikinis that are far more revealing, but the choice of those is up to female who wears those.

Privacy. Women wear skirts and short shorts. Men do not. Look at the latest news from Paris hilton. The paparizi got sever pictures of her underside because she doesn't wear panties with a skirt. Warmth is probably an issue and of course don't forget the obvious monthly thing.

Women wear underwear for both modesty and cleanliness. Women do not want to get pubic hair caught in outer garments any more than you do; likewise, women have a small but continual amount of secretion from the vagina. As far as "support" - since when do boxers support ANYTHING?

women need to wear drawers because they leak a bit. Some more than others.
I don't see why the hell men do, though, if they take a shower every day, shake it a few times after they take a leak, and can avoid crapping their pants or farting so much that they scortchmark their slacks.
