I think life is way too short to continually keep racism alive....I just don't see the logic to keep hatred going....Just think there is enough in the world already than to use this site to promote more.....sad and pathetic......

The world would be such a wonderful place if something like racism did not exist.
Racism is like cancer.... It shows up unexpectedly and if it's allowed to...it will fester and grow. So, to actively chose to not think or behave in a racist manner is the first step to making our world a better place. Ghandi said to be the change that you want to see in the world..... So, if you believe in something like not being a racist.....set the example. Let others see you living it.....
As to SoCal's comment about us all being racist.... Well, not exactly. We are born with blank slates and we learn what we see and what we live. I do believe that we are born to distinguish things that are different from us....but I do not believe that that was for the purpose of racism. It's just a learning tool or a survival skill.
I think that I hate seeing the arrogant and smart *** people's answers on here are worse than seeing the q & a's on racism. Rude know-it-alls are more sad and pathetic to me. I'd like to zap 'em with a stun gun when they do do it.....(grin).

Going back millenniums, racial bias exist. Jesus was on the cross because of racism. II world war was due to racism. Today the war in Iraq is due to racism. Their utterance: "There is no God but so and so.........etc.." THAT's racism.
It is part of human existence. You can't eradicate it. You can do your bit by not being a racist. I am not, at least I think I am not.
Often I check my attitude by cross questioning myself to make sure I do not fall into the racist mould......

While I may agree with you, this is an open forum. Once you start policing content, no matter what types, you lose your freedom of speech. Personally, I think freedom to express a persons ideas, however politically incorrect or distasteful to some, is one of the major founding principles of the United States Constitution and deserves to be protected.

Racism aside, most people are miserable, selfish inconsiderate assholes who would still find a reason to hate each other if everyone looked exactly alike and were all the same color. Thats just people. The only thing on Earth that does not discriminate is fire.

this is America and people have the right to promote what ever
they believe in even if you don't like it and i am not saying i am racist but a lot of people died for that right and you don't have the right to try and take from them
