Signs would be itchiness and vaginal discharge. There are some remedies that you can purchase at the drugstore, such as Micatin cream or if you can ask your doctor for Diflucan, as with one pill it gets rid of the infection. You should probably get rid of this before you continue on with your sex life. You don't want to keep passing it back and forth. These can occur after you have had a round of antibiotics and the normal vaginal flora has been interrupted causing the infection for occur. Hope this helps.

you will have a discharge that resembles cottage cheese.
there are many over the counter meds for a yeast infection.
one is called Monistat, another is Gyne-lotrimin, and there are a few others i cannot remember the names now. just follow the package directions and in about 1 week your symptoms will be gone. if you are not sure what to do then call your doctor or better yet, talk to a phamicist.
