they never released the official lyrics, i think as a publicity stunt. there are many different "lyrics" people guessed or made up but none are what the band was trying to convey

Nobody, really - as Billy Joel stated, no one could understand that singer, probably he didn't know what he was saying, eiher. That is, if you're referring to "LouiE, LouiE."
