If you are 11 and have started your period it is completely normal.

All girls are different and periods can start as early as 8 years old but the average age is between 11 and 14.

One of my daughters was 11 and the other was 12. If you are worried at all talk to your mum or someone your can trust to give you the correct information.

Age has nothing to do with it really. Once your body reaches a certain amount of fat, you will get your period. It just so happens for most girls the age of when this happens is 11 or 12.

There is no "normal age" to have periods. It all depends on the person; her genetics; her health etc.
