Your question does not specify why you wish to leave, but it does show a touch of fear in the last section of the sentence, I have a place to move to.
Why would you want him to know that?
you are trying to get away for what ever reasons, and you need the strength to tell him face to face, something tells me that face to face would be a bad idea even in the public eye. this is what you do,
Pack your things, do not go to a friends house the ones he knows, do not leave a note stating that you have left him!!
leave your wedding band enstead, he knows your reasons already. You two have emotional problems that can't be fixed, not even through counseling, he is too damn stubburn to let anyone in his world to deal with his problems, and your voice of reason to him don't mean smack!!! stop crying alright....... everything will be fine, just make up your mind to leave and do not look back!!!!
What ever your reasons are, I hope and wish you the best.

Just leave him a note. Don't tell him where you are going and take some time off of work, so he does not bother you there. That will give him time to be angry or hurt alone. Who knows he may be happy you are finally leaving. Some marriages are best when they are over.

Obviously youve had much time to ponder this since you have already found a new residence There is no easy way to tell him you have been very secretive so far so its going to be a big bombshell for him to deal with. If your afraid wait until he has left out and try to gather as much as you can and go if you are not then meet him at a public place and sit and discuss it if you try to talk to him alone I fear he might be angry enough to hurt you. Please think and pray about it. Good Luck

That is not going to be easy. Did you have help planning this? Was it a secret for a reason, are you afraid? If you are, call a women's shelter or support group and ask them for assistance. Telling him in front of your friends can put your friends in a tight spot as well - you want to move out, not end up on the nightly news.

Go to a neutral place. Some people are unpredictable.

If you have indicated previously that you will consider moving out unless something changes, then you can depart the relationship in good conscious.

Other than that, simply be honest.

I think if you are going and depending on how is he going to take it best thing is to move all the stuff out first and then tell him nicely with someone with you or in a public place.

Well it all depends on what kind of guy he is. If he will take it like a man just tell him to his face, but if he is trouble move out and leave him a letter.

You will try to explain the reasons of your decision. He must have understood that the things didn`t go well i suppose as you have already found a new place move to.So you tell him the situation and go on with your life.Good luck!

Don't.
Just move out when he's at work and leave a note.

MAN!!! are u for real?
Why didn't you tell him when you were thinking and planning to leave him. You will hurt him and humiliate him, but what has he done to deserve that from you?

It's none of my biz but you asked for help.

Just do it! Unaware of your reasons...but the reason all the women around here are leaving their husbands is because they want to live the single life they apparently missed.
