what are the different careers in mass communication?

There are books you can buy/take out of the library lay out what job possibilities there are stemming "naturally" from different majors.

I'd imagine mass communications could lead to things like: writing or editing for print/television/radio/internet outlets, or working in public relations or even advertising.

You should check out those books, though.
