Karen sounds pretty and soft. I haven't heard of any little girls with that name lately. So she probably won't have several other kids in her class with the same name! : )

i have a cousin karen the only downfall she said her name brought is Kazza as a nick name though she didn't mind it, and occasionaly at school she got carrot.
But overall Karen is a beautiful name good and solid
