Global warming is an international problem and every country is just pointing fingers at others and we, Canada and the USA, are among the worst offenders.

Politicians need campaign contributions to run for office and if they pass laws to protect the environment costing industries a bunch of money. They would be “biting the hand that feeds them”.

A bit off topic but when David Suzuki was asked his opinion on the wars currently being fought he replied. “It’s like we’re all in a car speeding toward a brick wall and everyone is arguing over who gets the front seat”, (may not be an exact quote).

It's Nuclear energy, look at who denies it even is happening, George W. The more idustrial companies that are allowed to open their doors, the worse it will get and continue to be. I know it's not a good thing, global warming but it is nice for a change to have nice weather all year round.

It's a blessing in disguise, it keeps the oil companies, the ones who rely on it to be cold to sell to people in their place. So glad now because there's going to alot of changes for things. I mean the Polar Bear is going on the endangered species list, and recently a rare white Dolphin went extinct. Global warming is here and it's definetely real, we're in for alot warmer winters.

Because we're idiots. Have you seen 'An Inconvinient Truth'? Good film, and really opens people's eyes to global warming.

However, the majority of this winter's warm weather is being blamed on El Nino, which is a natural event that occurs every 7 to 10 years or so. The last time I remember going through 'El Nino' weather, the strange temperatures lasted for a couple years... something to look forward to, huh?

Global warming is here and it has started impacting our present as much as it will, the future. People in third world countries are more at risk, though people in advanced countries can use the economic power to prevent the impact on their following generations. Ruin is for sure but can be prevented - one simple but ethically crucial option is to reduce bringing in more people into the world... unfortunate but poorer countries bring in more people and they will want to hence consume more thus impacting the future generations rate of survival. Let's all hope and work towards changing our lifestyles now before it is too late

People that think humans, which are responsible for 10% of global polution compared to volcanic output of 90%, are responsible for global warming are simply scientifically uneducated and show a direct result of what happens when the government runs our schools. If humans are responsible for global warming, why have the martian polar ice caps receding? The cause of global warming is the Sun. The doom sayers want you to think it's our fault so they can change how we think and how we live to fit into THEIR profile. I'm not going to conform to their uneducated, knee-jerk psuedo-science.

The BEST thing you can do for the environment, your health and the animals is to go vegetarian/vegan! It is the one easy thing you can do to combat global warming in a big way.

We are ruining our planet because we cannot and never could accept the environment as it is. Unsatisfactoriness. Our whole lifestyle has grown from dependancy on the automobile too.
