I am a 16 year old captain of the cheerleading squad. My boyfriend Jake and I are trying to have a baby. He is an actor on a popular Canadian TV show so money will not be hard. Plus I work part time at mcdonalds. How much money will I spend on the baby before he comes? I know babygap and gymboree have nice clothes. But for crib, bedding, swing, bouncy and other things? How much will I need to spend? I already have a few outfits from the Gap for him. Jakie Kyle Jr. I have a few toys also. Bottles and Binkies. I could never boob feed.

Oh gosh I really hope I can have twins.

How can I make sure I get theM? Only boys though no girls. but if I get a girl, even though Jake will want a boy, I will name her Brittany Courtney.

well young summer, i read your other question as well, and all i can say is LOL. you have got to be kidding. i mean read your post, from a Y/A! answerers point of view. Does everyone need to tell you that you sound stupid and immature? trying to make a baby with a boyfriend who is commmiting a crime by having sex with you, a child? you really think your parents would be ok with that? i doubt it!

If your boyfriend is such a popular actor and "money will not be hard" then why are you working at McDonalds?

And as far as wanting a boy - that right there tells me you are not ready for a baby. You should be happy with either. And having twins is not something you can "make sure you get."

And breastfeeding is the best and healthiest for your child. Whether it's inconvenient to you or not should not matter.

What does being captain of the cheerleading squad have to do with anything?

The cost of a baby is very expensive. The costs are for the baby's next 18 years at least. Wait a minute, you are only 16 so you should know that. You need your head examined if you are trying to get pregnant. If your boyfriend, JAKE, is an actor than he would know that you should wait until your not a baby yourself. For heaven's sake you just got your driving license. Be a CHILD before you have one!

You talk like if you're buying a piece of clothing or a pair of shoes! Like asking a friend "How much does a baby cost?" That's like so retarded you need to get your priorities straight! And another thing learn how to spell your 16 years old so you say and I'm 17 and I know how to spell better than you it looks like your trying to spell Bambi the great deer! Geez you need help please just do us all a favor and GET HELP! Plus your too young to have a kid! It's not the best thing in the world like for a example I'm wanting to become a Vet and I'm not ruining my life trying to impress my boyfriend with a baby!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT A LIFE! My mom had me when she was 18 and from her prespective it sounded pretty hard! Its not easy raising a kid especially when the dad doesn't even want the kid and thankfully my dad wanted me and supported my mom and me! You might not be so lucky and stop having your head up in the clouds!

You are way too immature to think about having a baby. Did you think about medical bills? Just the pregnancy can cost you up to $20,000 (US)! What are you going to do when your boyfriend leaves you, and believe me he will go after the next hot piece of *** that walks by as soon as you get fat! You're working at McDonalds? Finish high school, go to college, and grow up first. I was 19 when I had my first child, and I wish I would've waited till I was 30! Another thing, go take care of a 3 month old baby w/ colic for 48 hours straight, then see if you want to have a baby! Are you ready to give up your friends, dreams, and social life? Your friends will likely abandon you, it will be soooo much harder to go to college, and you won't ever be able to go to the bar when you are of age b/c you will be taking care of a child. You will likely be working at McDonalds till you are 40 if you make this poor decision. Do you like your job that much?

How are you going to pay ren, electric, phone, cable, water and garbage bills?

It is spelled Baby not Babbi.
If you both wanted a kid then why does it matter what sex it is as long as it is healthy? Does jakie really know that you are not on the pill anymore?
Raising a baby is hard work. You do not know what you are even trying to get yourself into. You are a baby so stop trying to have one yourself.

You are in a fantasy world and you are only thinking of yourself, you are not wanting a BABY (spell it right, girly) you want a trophy and if you do get pregnant I hope the guy see's you for what a shallow manipulative person you are.
The child will not be conceived in love and that will be with you for the rest of your miserable life.

P.S.GROSS- It sounds like you are picking names for your kid from a soap, go buy a cheap doll in the toy section and name it whatever!

I really hope this post is a joke. At 16 you should not be trying for a baby. Do yourself a favor and finish school first so you'll have an education when your boyfriend leaves you (50% of marriages end in divorce, you know).

Wait ten years. If you still want a baby, then go for it, but after you've finished college and gotten married or at least are firmly committed to staying together.

Clothes are not important to a baby. Bedding isn't needed - baby should sleep with you. If you use formula, you are lowering your child's iq, increasing the risk of diabetes, and denying your child his/her birthright. If you want to use formula, you are not ready to have a baby.
the most important thing a baby needs is a mommy who is there and who is interested and who is a bit more mature than you, as you undoubtedly know.
