I do not like roses. The reason is they cost to much and they die to fast!

I also hate the rose. A rose on the bush is beautiful, but the long stemmed ones grown for mass market are hidious! It's not natural for a rose to remain as a bud. Wrong, just wrong. If a guy wants to buy me flowers I'd rather he get me the whole plant!

Carnations. 1984 called and they'd like their flower back. I always picture huge, outdated boutineres on a powder blue ruffled tuxedo. And then there are the hideously fake-colored ones. Or the two-color, or the spotty ones. The red, white and blue 4th of July bouquets! The St. Patrick's Day bouquets! And they smell bad. They are just tacky and for some reason make me mad. Yes, it's just a flower, but it's one that bugs me.

There aren't any flowers that I don't like. There are many plants that I don't like, but a pretty flower on that plant can make even the most ornery vine or weed bearable.

I think roses are overrated. There is so much beauty in nature, and this obsession with roses doesn't make much sense to me.
