It depends on the overall cleanliness of the place. I would probably complain to the waiter or manager and see how they would react. A lot can be determined by the way they react.

Nope. I used to work at McDonald's. I know this isn't very well known, but most McDonald's are infested with them and DO get sprayed with poison every so often. That's why I won't work there. They also will put your burger back on your bun if it falls onto the floor becuase of the "5 second rule". I've seen it done many many times in a single day every day.

No you shouldnt go back there and you should report it to health inspectors pending the cleanliness of the restaurant in all areas. A hair in your food can be minor be if there is a majority then YOU DEFINATELY SHOULD REPORT IT!

That doesn't really bother me. If I found a cockroach IN my food - well, that's another story.

Actually, I've had that happen. A roach crawled up the wall right next to our table. I wanted to throw up. And no, I don't eat there anymore.

i've seen roaches in restaurants, and i tell the management. i won't even attempt to eat the meal, and i won't pay for it either. won't go back. i've had fingernails in my food...rodent fur in yogurt...that's the worst. recently, we found small strips of metal in our pancakes. the absolute worst is when you're in the bathroom with an employee, and they don't wash their hands. i always report that.
