I normally use it for my bathtub/ bathroom sink.
I don't know if there will be a problem if used on a kitchen sink.
I mean that's where you put/wash your dishes and it might be harmful to your body. Anyone ever done it?

Best bet is either a wire coat hanger or plunger. DO NOT plunge it if you have Drano s---t in there. Drano is acid and could, while plunging, get on skin or floor causing burns. Like your eyes. You probably need wire of some sort or get a plumber. If you get plumber be sure to tell him/her that you used Drano. Don't want to burn someone.

Read the instructions. I don't think you can pour it into standing water. You need to bail the water out first. There is no problem with using it in the kitchen sink as long as you pour it directly down the drain. If you are using Liquid Drano.... never mind.

It's OK but it's not a wise thing to do if you have a disposer, the chemical is hard on the seals and moving parts of the disposer, Use the plumbers helper.

If you have a double sink, have one person cover the drain in the left sink while another person uses a plumers helper in the right sink. this worked for me

You can but, I'd prefer "Plumbers helper" in the commercial type.
