The November General election that returned power to the Democrats in the US House, the US Senate and a majority of Governorships is the most profound event in 2006. There will finally be some oversight of the Bush Administration's activities and a few good bills will be passed to address minimum wage, health care, student loans, education and a few other issue areas.
