i want to get my belly pierced does it hurt??????

Watch it. And yes I beleive it does hurt.
Plus if an infection spreads (not all peircings are good for some people), you gotta do surgery like that one girl who peirced her nipple and they had to remove her entire breast.

I have a high tolerance for pain, and it hardly hurt at all for me. It's much more painful to get the upper ear done. But please be careful because some people's bodies reject the piercing and gradually push it outward. I have a scar from my belly ring pushing out, but I still have the ring in (just hanging on by the last bit of skin) to cover the ugly scar.
I say don't do it. They're getting kind of old anyway.

YES!! A clamp squeezes the skin either side, then they insert a needle with a tube, they remove the clamp the tube stays in while they insert the bar/ring through the tube and pull the tube out. Most of the pain is the clamp squeezing your skin. It does hurt but it's so fast you'll be starring at it in the mirror in no time. It might sound scary but if you prepare yourself and know what your getting into you'll be fine. Make sure you go to a clean place to get it done with professionals that know their stuff! Then get a hot bikini and have fun showing it off!!!!

Listen honey, I'm 14 and had mine done last Saturday.
Now, don't get yourself worked up. It's not as bad as you think.
Here's what they're going to do:
They are going to pinch the skin right above your belly button with a double prong. They then draw a dot on the outer skin, then on the inner.
Next, you lay back, steady your breathing and then slowly (But NOT painfully -it's not as bad as it sounds!) they stick a needle threw.
They then put your ring in and it doesn't hurt AT ALL. In fact, it takes quite a few days before it hurts, then it's only slightly sore.
That's all. The worst possible thing is the pinch prongs.That's all.
KEEP IT CLEAN! GET H2O Ocean Spray! It is amazing and easy to uninfected it!

well i wouldnt know but i'm sure it does!
i know people who have gotten theirs peirced & they say you feel a tremendous amount of pain \
hope you decide what to do!
