It's how life is my friend... those people who live in their position that they do are more greatful and faithful in God then those who have everything. People in third world countries try hard to just be people... in first world countries we try so hard to really care. I am from Brasil, and the way I see it is if everyone had it equal some one, who has free will, will take a step up over the others. In the end it is not God's problem but our own mess... sin... adam and eve stuff.

If you carefully read the story of Job, you will be able to better understand how things play out between God and Satan. God gave mankind a perfect world and they chose to ignore His advice and led themselves into the life of sin. Note this, since God IS FAIR, he had to allow Adam and Eve the right to CHOSE. In the story of Job, Satan actually accused God of overprotecting Job suggesting that God was not fair. So God had to allow Satan some freedom as a test of Jobs faith and as a test of Gods fairness. Are people really free to chose or are they just robots? As you can see from the pain and suffering in the world people ARE free to chose and too often they chose the path of greed and selfishness. Look at some of the countries in Africa and Asia. Those countries were established long before the U.S. became a world power and yet they languish in poverty. Why? The people can't put aside their differences long enough to establish a stable government and economy. Sure some countries have suffered horrible drought, but if they had an honorable, fair government they could get more help from the rest of the world. Some of those countries are too dangerous for UN and red cross workers to visit that's why they don't have all the help they need.
Don't blame God for the unfairness that has developed as a result of human error and greed, that is one of satan's favorite tricks. He causes pain and suffering and God gets the blame. Focus on where sickness and death come from and you will be one step closer to understanding the struggle between satan and God for the loyalty of mankind.

This is an extremely difficult question to answer, but I'll try anyway. Everyone on this earth is different, and that is just the way it should be, we don't really want to live in a cookie cutter society, do we? That would be very boring. God gave up all the power to take care of ourselves and our loved ones, but I think some of us screw that up by our individual choices. I think that we as a society, meaning the whole world need to look at ourselves and answer this question together, are we willing to just sit by and watch children suffer, or can we come together and make a better place for them. Some of us struggle to just take care of ourselves, and that's fine, but others of us can do a lot more than we do. It's all mindset. I believe on the immediate help that us Americans give to other countries and ourselves, but I think that there needs to be more teaching of how people can take care of themselves. For instance, how to farm effectively, and proper food storage techniques. This might help alleviate the problem, but unfortunately it will never be gone.

God has not ever been, nor will He ever be unfair. We as humans do not understand fully how He works. I agree that there is a lot of bad things in this world and a lot of bad things happen to good and innocent people but you have to remember that it is beacause of human sin that there is suffering in the world. We are all sinful. God doesn't want us to hurt. He is heartbroken along with us. It is because of sin that there is hurt, death, sickness, and all that other bad stuff in the crazy. Also remember, one cannot know happiness unless he experiences pain. Regardless of what one is going through in life, God is always there. It may not seem like it at the time but God sees the big picture where we only see a very small portion of things.

I think God is trying to teach the able (rich) people to give because they have so much, and others have nothing. Some try to help, but others turn their cheeks.
Some people might suffer but I believe they won't suffer when God meets them, and the ones who will be questioned are the people who worshipped material things over helping.

No, God is all wise. What we deem to be important, money, prestige, possessions are of no concern to God. Sometimes the sin of the parents is cast upon their children. Does God make people rich or is it satan? In God's eyes we are equal, we are all sinners.
You are making comparisons based on earthly things, not Godly things. That is the confusion.

Moses (the law giver) could never enter the promised land (a metaphor for Heaven) because the law was never meant to be salvific, and keeping the law could never get anyone into Heaven. Joshua (of which the name Jesus is a derivative) was an obedient man of faith, who had no problem crossing over. What does that tell you?

it's like that episiode of Futurama, where Bender gets thrown into space, and he meets "god" [a cluster a stars, whatever it's called]. the story makes god to go by the rules of not answering everyones prayer; but a few once in a while - to keep them believing in him. not everyone can have what they want.

Repeat after me: God is not real. There is zero evidence to support supernatural beings. You are right about life being unfair for many, but nature is not fair.
