I don't know anyone personally who doesn't fear some criticism. But being to worried about it to the point that you question each and every move that you make or don't make choices because of this fear is not healthy. I would suggest working on your self-esteem some, tell yourself your ideas and thoughts are valid and just as good as everyone elses. Also, realize this world is made up of everyday people, just like you and me, lots of people are understanding and understanding of human error, those who aren't have issues. We live in a diverse society, don't hide your true self, each of us contribute to the beauty of it.
Good luck!

The best way to combat a fear is to confront and master whatever makes you afraid. So, face more criticism and you will develop a thicker skin to it. Humans can get used to just about anything with enough time.

Do something really embarrassing in front of people...eventually your 'unconscious' mind that controls your shame and such will get the clue that on closer inspection, no one cares... good luck!
