This is likely a hoax, but an e-mail is circulating around town that Tom Loffman (a meteorologist who is in real estate now) called the GM of a radio station to say a weather mass out of Siberia is going to drop down and slam California and Oregon. Allegedly, he says it's the coldest and wettest storm he's seen coming in 30 years. I have looked on noaa.gov and checked everything being broadcast locally, but nothing... We do have freeze warnings, but that's it

I was surprised when I read your question. Looking at Tom's weather web site, he is forecasting a major cold outbreak.

So that part low elevation snow forecasted by Tom seems to be correct.

The rest about him calling the radio station may or may not be true. That's going out on a limb on this forecast. Even though models have improved a great deal over the years, I still have little confidence on going past 5 days. (Sometimes even going 24 hours.) I would not make that forecast based on my experience on how often the models are off on the extended period, but he may be right.

If he is this good can he predict interest rates to lower in 1 month to low 5's again. How about instead of the market here in Sacramento finally settling it rise's again and we have another Bay Area Market Hike on Homes in Sacramento. Wettest Storm was last year that I have seen. But I have only lived in the Region of Sacramento for 10 years. His predictions are probably a scam so that you will use him for real estate. Hit's the market wires makes predictions. So as to his prediction I would say False.
