I bought my daughter a creative zen mp3 player for christmas and the problems I had trying to get it to work where just rediculas. I spent 4 days on and off in her room trying to get it to work. The problems I had was, she does not have USB 2 or windows xp with service pack 2 (only windows xp) I tried every download that was recomended by microsoft and creative but still nothing. Can anyone recomend an mp3 player that I can get that will be able to run on her system.

Thanks

Agreed - you won't do better than a Zen and it'll will take a couple of minutes to download SP2, and I had the same problem with USB2 so I bought a hub @ Poundland for a £1 - problem solved.

Glad to see you weren't a sheep and bought an Iplod

if you swtch on the auto down loads the computer will do every thing automaticaly, you may need to leave it on for a couple of hours as it sounds like your version of xp is very old? to do this
1. start
2. control pannel
3. windows update!
then follow istructions
after the up dates are there you may need to switch off or reset to finalise the program?
as far as usb 2 it should still work, usb 2 works faster than usb
but still compatable!
hope this helps good luck & happy new year
