The baby is taking up space that a bunch of other organs occupy. The other organs used to have all this space to themselves, and adjusted to their proper functioning in the available space. Suddenly they have a visitor who has pushed them around and shoved them around and continues to move and push and kick. Of course they're going to object. You will feel the need to urinate more frequently because of weight on your bladder. You will fart because the baby will push on your stomach and bowels, shoving gas through the plumbing system. You can get back and leg pains if the baby presses against nerves. You also get back pain because you have this big weight hanging in front of you pulling you forward---so you lean back to offset. You'll have headaches and constipation and loose stools and frequent urination and a whole bunch of other things. Having said all that, many women say they've never felt better physically, or happier emotionally than when they were pregnant. In any event, it doesn't last all that long, really, and when it's over, you get the opportunity to participate in a precious new life, to influence that life, to watch it grow outside of the womb, in the real world...can you imagine anything more exciting?

It is natural to get gas while pregnant, but NO it is not because the baby is moving. The baby is not in your stomach or intestines where gasses are moving around and causing you to fart. Most likely, the pregnancy has changes your eating habits and with the vitamins and everything, it causes you to have gas. I had it with two of my three pregnancies.

When they are in 3rd trimester and sit on your bladder and you start to pee from pressure, who says they couldn't make you squeeze out a fart!! You could just say the baby's making you do it anyway for a few months.Haha!

That's for sure.As the baby gets bigger,he/she takes more space by pushing all your organs away.So when there is a pressure on your intestine, you fart out of your controll. It happened to me twice.Once my friend was with me, we loughed so hard that i farted again. The other time it happened around my dad.He doesn't hear well,i hope he didn't hear me.
