Does anyone know how to audition for Disney Channel without an agent?
Is there any auditions open right now?

I'm looking to try and find auditions for Disney Channel but so far I haven't seen any or heard any. I don't know how to audition for disney channel in general.

Thank You!

So much information to tell you and no good place to start :)

Why the Disney Channel?

Have you spoken with anyone at Disney or any other studio/production company/agency?

Do you think it is going to be easy?

Do you care if it will be easy or not?

If the last answer is "no" then get to work!

Call the Disney Channel - they get calls all the time and are probably tired of them, and ask them what agency they work with - you may not get an answer so be prepared for that.

Disney Channel shows have credits at the end, right? Ever read them? See who does the casting for the show you want to be on and see if you can look up their address.

Many trade magazines in Hollywood list casting calls - go to Samuel French Bookstore - they are very friendly there but also very busy.

Samuel French, Inc.
7623 Sunset Blvd.
Hollywood, CA 90046
Phone (323) 876-0570
Fax (323) 876-6822

Bookstore Only Saturday 10-5

This ain't gonna be easy, I have friends who are actors, I've been on TV once and an extra 3 or 4 times, there are no guarantees. It's being at the right place at the right time someetimes, or luck.

Sign up at Central Casting, that's how you may be able to become an extra, and it is not a scam, you'll meet a lot of other people who are trying to make it in the movies too.

No matter what, do NOT give anyone money upfront for anything - photos, portfolios, etc. - if they won't give you references or let you research them, they're not worth it. A lot of stuff in Hollywood can be gotten for free (listings) or cheaply if you know how and where to look.

Good luck!

Umm..... You could try othe types of auditions for shows, and if your disney's type, they might want you. I've been looking for auditions also, but I'm more into singing, I have my Christmas CD that i'm working on, but really though, just look for local auditions first.
