Put support under where you want to put the tank. Have an angle iron stand made and put paneling on the outside of the stand. I would get some body good in math to take the dimensions and give you the true volume of your tank just to be safe

well i'm not American so I have no idea how big a 200 gallon fish tank would be but I have quite a big fish tank and I was worried about that too but I think if you just put it on a section of the floor where there are beams underneath it, it should be fine.

First of all, you would need to have a stand for such a set up. A wooden stand with large supports will assist in dividing the weight. However, you can always consider placing your tank in a location that is situated near a floor beam.

200 GL weighs 1600 lbs.. 1 GL = 8 lbs. you should know your foundation better than anyone here.
Also, I would highly suggest you get a stand for your tank.
You don't want it to get kicked, bumped into or anything like that or you run a hugh risk of it breaking and all that water all over your floor.
