This dream is so weird how did you react when you come to what does this mean i havent had it in a long time but just wondered what happens if you really hit bottom in your dream

I've had that dream so many times. Once I actually rolled off the bed while dreaming that I was falling, and I woke up on the floor. It was scary. *nods*

Might be an old wives's tail but according to tradition. If you don't wake up before you hit bottom when you dream you are falling. you'll die.
And yeah I have dreamed I was falling and I have always woke before I hit bottom; obviously because I am not dead. That is if you believe such things.
Thankfully I do not believe in any of those old superstitions. Knock on wood.

Yah,I've had a couple of dreams where I'm falling but I wake up right before I hit the bottom.

Used to have this as a recurring childhood dream. Never hit bottom though. I heard something once about it being the subconsious mind actually falling into a deeper stage of sleep, don't know if it is true, though.

i've had this dream before and whn i have it what happens is that i would feel like i am free falling until i finally hit the floor i wake up and i realize that i would be in my bed but my whole body would jump up off the bed out of impulse and fall back on the bed making it feel like i've hit the ground. the second time i've had it i've literally fallen off the floor so yea. so yea.. .usually what happens after u hit bottom in the dream i wake up.

yeah i dreamt like this many times,i used to feel as i m falling from tree but i used to wake up before hitting the ground so no idea really what so when u hit the ground..

i once dreamed that i was falling off form a cliff but in reality i was falling off my bed. Lol it was soo funny. i woke up shouting "help" "help"
