Where does the Wider border/decoration go on bed sheets on the feet side or pillow side?

Where does the Wider border/decoration go on bed sheets on the feet side or pillow side.

I like to have the sheets so that the faded side is facing up, that way when the sheets are folded down you can see the nice side near the pillow. Other people do it the opposite way.... I'm no Martha Stewart, but I think my way is right.

As for the wider border, that definitely goes near the pillow.

It goes at the pillow end, myself I lay the sheet down so that the back side is up, so that when I fold tha sheet down over the top edge of the blanket the wide nice border shows, but it is really to everyones own taste. I learned from my great gram and it stuck with me, I also iron my sheets if I dont have the chance to hang them out to dry, shoot I have been caught here in Canada hanging them out in the snow, they are very crisp and smell so nice.... That's definitely perspiration. My son has hyperhydrosis, and I have had the same situation with sheets when he was living with me. The only thing I could really do for sheets was to put dark ones on his bed! Other than that, just wash things frequently; it's just a different sort of body chemistry, and there's not necessarily anything you can do about it.

Well if you want your feet to be with the wider area, you're all alone cuz it goes to the pillow side.
