Today, 30% of DNA paternity tests, nearly one in three, prove that the man involved is not the father of the child in question:

http://www.rense.com/general51/chsup.htm

With ~4M children born per years, this means 1.2M Men every year are victims of paternity fraud.

This also means that 1.6M men are paying child support for children that are not theirs.

Feminists are trying to outlaw paternity testing:

http://www.michnow.org/patact.htm

With child support fitting the definition of peonage or slavery:

http://antipeonage.0catch.com/

"Peonage is thus legally required labor to pay a debt or obligation."

Why are feminists, represented by the body the National Organisation for Women trying to outlaw protections for men from paternity fraud?

Are these the actions of a movement in support of equality and social justice?

Nobody has actually given me an answer yet as to why, if it's not support of slavery.

BTW the 30% statistic comes from the American Association of Blood Banks:

http://www.aabb.org/Documents/Accreditation/Parentage_Testing_Accreditation_Program/rtannrpt04.pdf

The average exclusion rate for the laboratories reporting exclusions was
25.92%, with a standard deviation of 7.27. The median exclusion rate was 27.00% with a range of 11.11% to 39.48%.

And so what if it can't be directly extrapolated to the general population.

The question is: Why do feminists oppose paternity tests when 30% prove the man was the victim of fraud.

The 30% claim is now substantiated (pwned again it looks like, please don't delete your answer again this time wendy.)

First of all, I think your argument that because 4 million babies are born each year, there are 1.2 million men that are not the father is flawed. Many men simply trust the mother, and so never get a paternity test done. Usually when there is a test done, there is a basis for it, i.e. distrust, and sometimes rightly so. I do not consider myself a full-fledged feminist, however I do believe in some of what they do. It is not slavery to pay child support, it is simply your duty, as a parent. That goes both ways, because there are more and more fathers who have custody of children. The custodial parent usually knows what the children need most, and so should be able to make those choices without too much question. As a single mother of three, I know that it is hard to raise them by myself and needed the child support just to make basic needs. What a lot of noncustodial parents don't realize is the high cost of childcare, having to leave work because of a sick child, and therefore losing pay, and just plain being too tired to prepare a dinner every night, and so the occasional eating out costs money. Not to mention the fact that you can buy several different sizes of clothes in one year for a child because of growth spurts, school lunches, etc., I could make this list longer, but you get the drift. I would not however, disagree that there needs to be more regulations in checking that the money is spent on the children. My ex-husband passed away last year, and so now my children receive SSI benefits. I have to account for all that money that I spend, and something like this could be implemented.

If equality and social justice were to prevail, the feminazis would simply be put out of business. They are bigots, hatemongers, and sexists, and this 'slavery' simply funds the feminazi agenda.

It is also for this reason that the feminazi agenda is trying to remove fathers from the lives of children, with the exception of stealing their cash. It is for this reason that things like food, clothing, etc. are considered 'gifts' by the courts and not 'child support'. They could care less about supporting the children, they simply want money.

You arent going to prove anything to these haters who love to see men having it socked to them. They just want to sit around and play the blame game all day.

Er...as an "information management" professional I feel it my duty to point out that your first source is COMPLETELY LOONY TUNES and doesn't possess a shred of authority or respectability. I fully expect the other two sources to be equally as "colorful' as your first pick.

Alongside this article I found (amongst other things) many articles about UFO's and government cover-up conspiracies; an advertisement for PSI-Lord Com, "The biggest & the best Psychic Hypersite" and sooooo much mind-bending, twisted junk I thought at first I might be hallucinating. There are many offensive articles too; some questioning the authenticity of the Holocaust..and last but definitely NOT least was my favourite headline: “Democrat Congressional Whores Roll over For Bush”. It's just hysterical, man!

You actually BELIEVE this crap? Apparently so...in which case let me tell ya about some swampland I got fer sale in Florida...goin' cheap...a great deal...howz about it?

While 30% of those who take paternity tests may find that they are not the biological father of the child you cannot relate that statistic to the number of children being born every year since not every 'father' tests for paternity.

70% of suspecting fathers who test paternity should apologise to the mother and their child for being a complete jerk.
