It's funny, but just changing your life a bit when you get older can make these things disappear.

Is it all still going on out there without me? Just curious...

I was hurt in accident and was in so much pain for years I would sit in my bedroom and play Russian roulette. It went thru hell. more pain then anyone could possibly imagine. I didn't go out and buy pain pills.what the doctor gave me didn't help at all. I was a damn fool not no go out and find someone selling pain pills.I finally have a doctor that gives me lortab. it helps some. but not a lot.why do people do drugs. people have been doing drugs for probably 100.000 years are more.theres plenty of things in nature to get high on. theres always been a certain % of the population that will wont to do drugs. Its a part of the human consciousness. i don't know why.in every case.everyone is different.in there reason to get high. .it feels good.Theres monkeys I saw on a show. in south America who will eat a certain Caterpillar to get high . they get stoned as heck. and I guess they love it. or they wouldn't do it. .It also TAKES AWAY THE PAIN.to a degree. I would not be alive if I didn't have these pain pill s now. I cut my wrists. twice. deep because of the constant pain. There should be more help for people who wont to come off doing drugs in the States.and pot should be legal. I do like it any more but I did. once. Its a plant for Gods sake with no truly harmful effects. like liquor does.Peace

The truth is that no one does illegal drugs anymore, as a matter of fact, there is only 1/4 or less crime committed than they say. It's all a governmental conspiracy to make you think the world is worse than it really is. Stop by, we'll burn one and I'll tell you the REAL truth about these vicious lies

Ok....I am going to take this seriously for once...it is really a hilarious question and from the answers you are getting, you can surely see that....anyways....sounds like you are either a hermit and you seriously DON'T know about the GIGANTIC world of drugs out here..and sounds like you used to..maybe something did happen to make you change your life...and in the change you dropped out of society in general and just honestly don't know....but my answer to this question is a definite YES....more than ever....my goodness...I live in a rural country area, and even MY neighborhood is nothing but drug dealers/abusers...not saying everyone is..I certainly am not...I don't put them down for it...but it's all around me...how can it not be out "there"....no offense meant whatsoever...like I said...I am taking this one on a serious level just to see my "results"....

Most people will do drugs at some point in their life, and this will never stop. You are right, changing your life can make this disappear (thank God); but for some folks, it keeps going on and on and on. Isn't that a sad fact of life?

No..... I'm not sure if you missed Time magazine last month but our country has totally irradicated all illegal drugs. But don't worry heroin addicts are making the smooth transition to OxyContin.
