You are not giving much info about you??? Are you a girl, a boy? And if you are looking for a friend???
The Internet is a very dangerous place to start!!! You never know who are you REALLY speaking to!!!
Take some things into consideration and set you own standards for as who would you like to be in contact with!!!

Yahoo has yahoo chat & yahoo messenger, you can down load icq and a number of other devices for chatting, I really like yahoo, they have chat rooms and messenger , choose one or two and decide which you like best, aol also has one, but seeings as I'm in Canada now I go with yahoo cause it is where I met my hubby and it is free lol Good Luck to you

At chatopen.com, Yahoo chatting or any pen pal site. Just go to google search and type in pen pals and you will get tons of sites where you have to register as a member and then they will ask you personal information and you have to describe yourself, your hobbies, likes and dislikes. sometimes its for many purposes like dating etc. you have to select your age from the age category. good luck.
