I don't think they should be stereotyping...

Well it is true that Asians are on average smarter than other 'races'.

I'm sorry to admit that it is because of necessary eyeware. Glasses. Every smart student whether it be an asian or american young person in the fifties who wore glasses was nicknamed a nerd or geek by people who wanted to take the attention off they're ignorance.

If it is used in a nice teasing tone, then it is not malicious in any way.
Asians were raised to be focused on education,
I mean, that is part of the culture. Asian men must be smart, Asian women must look pretty and be smart but not smarter than the man.
Asian men usually end up doing computer jobs, and computer jobs as a rule get labeled as a geeky, nerdy jobs no matter what race you belong to..
So what is your point? :-(

Name-calling...geeks...nerds is something that comes from stupid and ignorant people to denote anyone (not only Asians) who has a passion for knowledge and learning above shallow social interactions. Computer whizzes, chemistry buffs, reading enthusiasts, we are all geeks....and PROUD OF IT!!

They aren't geeky or nerdy, they're fast thinkers. The Korean online gamers are unbelievable, especially at strategy games. But they can't make their own, they are just hooked on games made by Blizzard in the U.S. I think they would put a lot of thought into the gameplay if they were to make their own games.
