No. The controllers don't do as much with motion sensing as Nintendo's Wii and they don't vibrate anymore. The games aren't very innovative, just the same thing with better graphics. There aren't very many games or blu ray movies yet and the ones there are, are very expensive. It will be a few years before developers really take advantage of the extra capacity of blu ray. The system itself is huge compared to PS2. I would wait until the price goes down, there are more games and movies before you think about getting one. If you want a more innovative gaming experience for much less money, get a Wii.

What something is worth relies upon on its fee. If lots of human beings are prepared to pay $six hundred for a PS3, then it for sure has such fee and is hence worth $six hundred, a minimum of to a pair who can discover the money for it or desire they might discover the money for it. If no one offered a PS3 at that value, then it would not be worth it, thereby inflicting a help in fee and hence value. particularly, the PS3's commonplace characteristic is the flexibility to play in excessive--definition. If the television upon which it incredibly is performed isn't HD in a position, then the acquisition may well be a finished waste of money.

Yes, because it actually ends up cheaper than the 360 if you upgrade the 360 to everything that the PS3 has.

But I do agree that Sony rushed out the PS3 in order to meet the holiday deadlines. The launch games were slim pickings, and the follow ups to the launch has been slow. Two or 3 new games in over a month? That's pathetic.

If you have the 360 already wait awhile before purchasing the ps3. The current game selection is the same as the 360.

Absolutely.
-Blue Ray Disc Player is in it. It costs even more than the PS3 seperately, so Sony is losing money and you are saving! =)
-PC! I use mine as a PC and browse the internet on it!
-Great Graphics and games. X360 has good games, but not as good graphics as PS3. Wii only has 2 good games for the YEAR (Zelda and Super Smash Bros. Brawl). PS3 has totally nice graphics and nice games. Call of Duty 3 has nice graphics and is still fun. Resistance is kind of like Halo, but online play is better....imagine 40 halo guys running around in one small arena killing each other!

No, not at the moment. The PS3 still has a long way to go. I really don't like the fact that Sony forced a Blu-Ray drive on you.

Yeah. It's actually cheap, as far as blu-ray players go. But if you don't have an HDTV with 1080p resolution it's not worth it.
