The best answer is always to call the doctor. Pregnancy is covered under a global payment, so no matter how many times you see the doc or go to labor and delivery, it is covered. Any time you are concerned about anything pregnancy related, you should call the doctor. Always be safe rather than sorry. Every pregnancy is different, and just because this symptom is normal for one person, doesn't necessarily mean that it is normal for you. I hope this helps.

I'd get it checked out. You could just ring your maternity unit at the hospital & ask them if there is any cause for concern. numbness usually means cut off circulation & that can be perfectly normal for a pregnant woman with loads of weight on large vessels in that area. Good luck!

You should contact your OBGYN NOW!!!!. IF you are unable to get an appointment go to the ER. It is not common to have that symptom. You should invest in "what to expect when expecting" that book is a godsend, and can alert you to the symptoms of problems in pregnancy as well as show you what you may be feeling on a monthly basis.

probabbly because the area is so stretched, maybe a nerve has even been temporarily deadened. I tell you, nothing surprises me when it comes to strange body sensations and pregnancy. Ask your OBGYN though. You're almost there~ Congradulations!!!
