Don't know about husbands, but I reckon some might have suicided, or been convicted of murder and executed, due to their wife's nagging. But probably, said wives had something to nag about, if they had a feller so incapable of changing the situation or escaping. Country most deaths? China, because most living. Century most deaths? Twentieth for similar reason, although the Black Death was a star turn throughout Europe in its day. Nagging at Abu Gharib etc? I'd be astonished if it wasn't, along with a lot of other nasties, for which USA ought to be ashamed and globally condemned, and so should Australia and Britain. Bush especially ought to be thoroughly nagged - like, tied to a horse's tail. Not that they'd take any notice, have you noticed? It's a fine mark of stupidity.

I think there are some instances, it may not be directly though. Because in the Philippines I have seen in the news that there are some men who committed suicide because they are nagged by their wifes that they are useless husbands, that they can not provide to the family, or that why did they loose their jobs, many bills to pay. Nagging usually affects the thinking capability of the man as the head of the family. When a husband felt that he is a useless human being, then some think of comitting suice, than live to see and hear from his wife that it may be good just to finish their useless lives.

I have no doubt that men have died as victims of constant nagging, whether by eventual coronary, stroke, or simply lack of will to carry on.
Some wives beat their husbands mercilessly for entire lifetimes with their incessant criticism, whining, bitching and nagging.
I believe it is worst than physical abuse or torture.
It is a slow and painful death.
