More....but in a good, reassuring way that doesn't detract from their verbal message. Alot of communication is non-verbal. People who are naturally charismatic are good at both verbal and nonverbal communication.

I think charismatic people have very precise and purposeful body language. Everything they do is to demonstrate their point at hand. In other words, their body language is very confident and self-assured.
So to answer your question, it depends. If the purpose is for sex appeal, the body language may be subtle but oozing seduction. It the purpose is to entertain, the body language is lively, energetic, and out there. Truly charismatic people can alter their body language at will without even knowing it and can bring the point across instantly no matter what it is. You get what I mean?

More. I'd say a perfect example would have to be Hitler. He had hired a magician to train him some of the tricks he learned in oratory. Then Hitler would go out and perform like an actor. People would go crazy for his emotions- both in the tones of voice he used, as well as the arm movements and in his facial expressesions. Oh yeah, image was everything to Hitler.

More watch someone who tells a story with a lot of body language and see how many people tune in. Speech is more lively, animated, and entertaining when someone "acts" out their story.

i think its the way they look and some body language that gives them charisma. maybe not too much and not too little. i can think of examples of non-charisma. donald trump is definitely not one! for those who are religious, picture of Jesus looks charismatic. for those who dont, it will not look charismatic at all. remember no one knows how JC looks like! this is just figment of someone's imagination
