What is this ''greatest hit'' thing?

Sony, MS, and Nintendo decided to give their best sellers a greatest hit designation when the game reaches a certain sales figure and after it has appear on the market for a set amount of time.
For example, Sony's PS2 games can be designated a Greatest Hits title after it has sold 400,000 copies, and it's been out on the market at least 9 months.

All three console manufacturers have their own "Greatest Hit" program. Once a game reaches a certain number of units sold and has been out for a certain length of time, the game is released in the "Greatest Hit" line. Basically this means the price is reduced ($19.99 for GC, Xbox, and PS2 games) and it gets new packaging to distinguish it from all of the others on the shelf.

No because of the fact it seems pointless and there are a number of greater beneficial video games out on the 2nd. it incredibly is only not as good because of the fact the final one with the little bot helicopters and tanks in it back whilst gaming became greater social. my suggestion, get saints row 3 or battlefield 3 insttead or maybe even batman arkham city (Y) additionally the certainty which you have thumbed down those that are asserting its not good skill that your fairly prepared in this game and your for sure searching for a particular answer i.e. you have chose human beings to declare its super. circulate purchase it and then answer your guy or woman question.

probably sells a lot and isn't crap. like devil may cry 2 sold a lot but it is crap so i don't think it get greatest hits.
