if not, why so much blood to establish it? (in Iraq for example) if yes, is this democratic? if not democratic then democracy does not exist, if it is democratic (majority decides) does democracy make sense? what if the majority are mentally unbalanced and their decisions are crap?

I am not referring to the united states war only, i am not from that country. besides it is not the only "democratic" country in the world, nor the most important.

no.. it's participatory.
Well we have a majority of the country unhappy with a 500 billion dollar war ....to spread ...democracy? or to remove WMD'S and then to spread... democracy? whatever... we don't like it and yet it lumbers on at the expense of our children the Iraqi peoples and our Beloved country...WHICH IS BEING LOOTED BY THIS!!!!!!!

So apparently ... no it's not

There cannot be a true Democracy anymore. It's virtually impossible. When the rich rule totally and the lower class people don't really have much of a say...I mean yeah we get to vote for the president, and things, but that doesn't really matter in this so called 'democracy' of the U.S. because Bush didn't even win the popular vote! And when voting you have a choice of one rich person who has his or her own agenda and another rich person with his or her own agenda. There is no true democracy anymore, and it is crazy that the U.S. who doesn't even have a real democracy go around trying to show others how it should be done.

it should be obligatory most ppl in the USA do not vote. Most act like the old Greek slaves who could not vote back then.In the USA lobby system is kidnapping the USA democracy un like any democracy.

if your country is oil rich, then yes it is obligatory. how else would the lobbyists get anywhere if it wasn't?
