No. From the first day of your last period plus seven days is how you count the months. For example: If the first day of your last period was Aug 19, add seven days you would get Aug 26. Then the 26th of each month is what you would consider your months. You would be four months pregnant on Dec 26th. 16 weeks pregnant on Dec 9th. Many doctors prefer to count in weeks other than months.

hmm... gee... Iet's try basic 2nd and 3rd grade math... there are 4 weeks in a month. so... that would be one month, two months, three months (I'm counting the blocks) four months. Yep, 16 weeks is 4 months. Unless you want to do the scientific method of this... lets say you got popped on the 1st of January...

There are 31 days in January, so that's 4 weeks 3 days, 28 days in February, so that's 4 weeks.... ok, we have 8 weeks 3 days so far. 31 days in March... ok, now were up to 3 months and 6 days all together... ok, now it gets tough... April 22nd would actually be the 16 week... so technically, its not 4 months, it's just under... But I've only been to the International Space Station and back; NOT!

In pregnancy, you don't go by months because of every month having a different amount of weeks in it. Also if the doctor tells you that you are 16 weeks pregnany, that is give or take 2 weeks because when you ovulate implantation could happen right away or up to two weeks later hence give or take.

no it isnt - a pregnancy is said to go for 40 weeks which is still only 9 months

you are best to work back from your due date to determine how many months you are

I am 32 weeks and that is not considered 8 months it is 7 and a half. so it goes without saying that half of that is not 4 months its about 3 and a half.
