Braveheart because it had everything. The story was awesome. Every character was played by the perfect person for the part. It had drama, suspense, lots of action, wit, even a little humor now and then and the best speech ever on freedom in a movie.

That would be "The count of monte cristo" starring Jim Caviezel. Very interesting story with twists. What's even better the same book by Alexander Dumas.
