Greg Lemond and Bernard Hinault (both multiple TdF winners) are 5'6" or so. Tony Rominger (who briefly held the hour record) and Marco Pantani (another TdF winner) are/were even smaller.
Pro Football Hall of Fame member Barry Sanders .. is 5'8" tall!

Yeah, that's a excellent peak. Recall that boys preserve developing after they're 18, greater than girls do. I am a junior in school now, and the blokes who are, say 21 and 22, appear much older than the blokes who're 18. So if you want to be taller, don't sweat. You're not performed yet! I might say 5'6" is lovely natural for an 18 12 months-historical guy. I know a variety of guys who're about that height.

Yes. Actually, in a lot of countries in the world 1.72 metres is considered normal for a 18 year old boy.

It's possibly you could grow an inch or so. My brother grew 2 inches when he was 18. There are guys a lot shorter than 5'6". Just be happy with who you are because you can't change your height.

Yeah, it's on the short side, but who cares? I'm short (5'3) so it's nice not to have a really tall boyfriend.
