I got the following email as a response of an email where I told a good friend I liked her. I also apologized for my treatment of her. What does her email mean?

Hey. I've read both e-mails, and let me put one thing to you up front - our friendship is not in danger. No need to worry about that.
We'll be seeing your family some time in the next couple of days - either saturday or monday, i don't know when, but when we do I think it is appropiate for us to have a talk and clear things up for good. What do you think?

If I go into detail now, and start explaining different things, you'll only answer with an e-mail that I would again have to answer back.

Just, let me clear up one point for you - oh, man-- yes, I know I said we'd talk in person, but being me I can't resist; that thursday when you admonished me and justin for throwing the sugar on the floor , i was not at all offended. If anything perhaps I was a little embarresed because you were right - it was immature. Throwing sugar on the floor isn't the most productive use of ones time -- but in my defense, it was justins idea *winks* so, I plead guilty.

let's talk in person
as the friends we already are,
Steph(y)

Email is like a double-edged sword. While it is a great way of communicating, it's easy to take something someone says in an email the wrong way.
It truly sounds like your friend wants to continue the friendship, but she wants to talk to you face-to-face to clear the air. Perhaps she senses you are fearful of losing your friendship. Listen to what she has to say, don't react with anger if she says something you don't like, and tell her how much you value your friendship with her. Good luck to you!!

why'd you get mad at the broad for throwing the sugar on the floor? don't know what kind of answer you expect out of this, but um.. i think she still likes you as a friend. the romantical part of liking you i'm not so sure. i'd say it's more of a no since she wants to have 'the talk'.. but i could be wrong! just sort of what it sounds like to me.

It sounds like your friend really does not want to communicate by email but does really want to be your friend.

I'd say that she wants to further things after chatting.
