well i really dont know what is the answer to your question but what i will suggest is this::... you should really know if that is just a crush(admiration) or is that really what they call "lOVE"...
if you are really sure that if your feelings towards that person is realy real then you should not keep it to yourself share it to someone else to help relieve your special feeling.. i've been there and g0od luck for the next step:)
