The answers so far are really gross!! If that's the best you can do, I feel sorry for you.!!! I don't know if 'booey' is a new word or not. Or if it's the correct prononcement of a very old word. That word is 'buoy'. It is , as you may know a marker for ships, boats. It marks narrow channels where there may be hidden rocks, etc. It is pronounced 'booey'. If there is a new word, I have not heard it and I could not tell you the meaning.
