i just started school on the 3rd and i need some help making some new friends ASAP. please help

It's hard starting a new school, especially in the middle of the school year, but I'm sure you can do this. At least you are interested in trying.
Look for kids that aren't already part of a group, and those will be the ones that are more likely to respond to friendship. Ask questions of people about things that are being studied in class, or ask about different teachers or school policies. All of these are fair questions because you are new. If the person you asked looks you in the eyes and gives full answers, they might be interested in being friends. If they give as little info as possible, they probably already have a lot of friends. If you don't succeed at first don't take it personally -sometimes it just takes a longer time to get to know people. I have lived in 4 areas of the country as an adult, and I can tell you that there are some places you can make friends instantly and some places where the people take awhile longer to warm up to new comers. Just keep trying and you will succeed.

meetin.com is a pretty good site. so is meetup.com if you have hobbies that you can connect with people over.
