Just use a paint roller. Most girls in college who don't know how to put on makeup use one.

I was like you for the longest time, no clue how to put it on at all and so wouldn't wear it because I sure as heck didnt want to look like freaking Bozo the clown.
What I did was go to a couple of make up counters that I knew my friends used and just asked questions. I know MAC counters do consultations (I can't think of the right word) where you can tell them I'd like to learn how to do a subtle face for school and it's about 40 dollars, but you get to at the end get that back in make up.

Really your best bet is to go to a cosmetics counter and let them give you a lesson. Do you have a Macy's or Sephora near you? It is really not expensive, most counters require you to buy a certain amount of products in exchange for their time. Make an appointment and they will assist you with picking out appropriate colors and also how to use the products. As far as a site try makeupalley.com, lots of good info. Good Luck!

Not really but if you have an older sister or a mum or even a friends (obviously a girl) ask them no need to be inbarrased if you cant go to one of the above go to a hair saloon and they usually do make up and watch how they do it or do a make up artist course !!

You shoud take a makeup class....should'nt cost too much...or better yet go to a makeup counter at the mall and ask them to do you a makeover, and have them explain what they are doing. Also, i f u can ...trust a friend to give you a makeover and have her show you as she is doing it.

Usually the department stores will show you how
Other girls are a great source. Does one of your friends wear her makeup how you would like to wear yours? Make a night of it! Have them show you. Most girls will be happy to share the knowledge they have with you.
