Can anyone fill the gap left behind by the death of John Peel as the true champion of british indie music......or have we all had it now in that area

Will Zane Lowe ever have anything interesting or inciteful to say?
I think this is a fake question, from someone else who thinks Zane is poor quality but wants to get stuck in to him. No-one will replace John but someone else will come along to take up the standard eventually

Zane Lowe plays good music, and in my opinion is a good DJ, but he does lack the personality that John Peel had

Zane Lowe plays good stuff, not keen on him though.
There is Steve Lamacq who plays a pretty good mix, and has good sessions. Same as the live lounge session with Jo Whiley.
I reckon it will be a while yet until we find a "new john peel" but it will happen.

not something can beat John Peel Dresden Dolls, Smashing Pumpkins, The Shins, White Stripes, Neil youthful, Muse, Pulp, Elliott Smith, Placebo... and that i imagine i can blame the full guy himself for fairly a lot all of it! i do not extremely pay interest to the radio a lot, slightly of bit radio 2 now and again
