I can't get a job because I would have no way to get a ride, and none of the places that are hiring are walking distance from my house. Somehow I need to get a gift for my best friend for her graduation in May and her birthday in July. I tell her every year i'm going to get her something, but I never do, and now when I tell her, she never even brings it up, like she forgot about it anywayz. I have no way of getting any money, and I really have tried everything I can think of (looking for a job, working around the house/yard, etc.) but it still doesn't work out. So will someone please help me find a way to get my best friend something for her graduation and her birthday, for free because I have no way of paying for anything. Please someone HELP!!!!

This is the Greatest Option!!! But, it on works for US Residents right now. I was always looking for a work at home opportunity because I travel with my husband. Easy money = do surveys for money. You can spend very little time and easily earn the money for your friend's graduation present. Other than that, you could get a job and take the bus =P. Granted you wouldn't be too appealing to the management, but you could work if you could bus around.

Take the bus, train, get a job with someone you know that can bring you, work from home, companies will pick you up with the crew,prostitution, pick-pocket
Or like the rest of em...Welfare.

make her something yourself
like grab a plain t-shirt/tank top and decorate it for her
go to the crafts store and buy some pretty beads to make her a pretty pair of earrings and/or necklace
make her handmade cards
you can go to teenfreeway.com or others freebie websites and get some free samples of this and that, collect it over the next couple of months and put it all in a pretty basket/package/decorated box
sometimes, some freebie websites give free magazine subscriptions so maybe you could sign her up for one
if there's a stadium near your house find out if they hire students for just the day of the event and you could work at concessions
check out craigslist.org for temporary jobs/gigs
if you're really good at a subject and have gotten good grades to prove it, you can offer to tutor another student in that subject for a fee, you can either advertise yourself at school or on craigslist, or maybe to to the counseling/advising/tutoring center to let the advisors know of your services... you could tutor after school at school, or at your house or at the students house and ask to get a ride from his/her parents as part of the deal [if they live far from your house, otherwise walk]
ask someone to let you borrow some $ and go the crafts store and make jewelry that you can sell online or at school, then use that $ you make to pay back your debt and keep buying supplies to keep making $ so you can save for a gift
if yourself or neighbors have pretty gardens/flowers, ask ahead of time if you could have one or two flowers from their garden, if you get just one or two flowers but from several neighbors [or if you have them in your garden yourself] you can make a beautiful bouquet of flowers for your friend when the time comes
