Gay Pride Parades are public events. Gay parents bring their children, and there are Gay Youth clubs and Gay-Straight Alliances from high schools in most of the larger cities marching in the parade.
Because of your age, your parents may want to know where you're going, but there's nothing about the parade that would prevent you from attending the parade or any public rallies following.

I think people usually march WITH an organization or something, so I'd look into what's available in your area; there is a specifically youth-oriented organization that marches here. Or, talk to the people running the parade. Your age should not be an issue at all. I don't know if there's any fees or whatever for just marching by yourself.

You sure can. And they'd be glad to have you march too. But an important thing to check out first is to see whether there is an organisation for gay youth in your area so that you can meet other guys your own age, and maybe march along with them in the local Gay Pride Parade.
Boston, Massachusetts, has an organisation called "BAGLY". Boston Alliance for Gay and Lesbian Youth. I've inserted the link for you to look at, but you might want to do a search for something similar in your area.
Have fun!

You bet you can!!
Mostly with a glbt youth organization like ACT-UP or other similar local groups.
Just check your local city's Pride Parade website, or GLBT chamber of Commerse website for a list of who usually participates in your city's parade. Then you might want to get involved with them and march in your city's parade!
Good luck and remember, be safe and have fun!

What does your parents say about this? I believe 18 is the legal age to display
your Feminine or Masculine Gender in a Gay Parade.

i dont see what the problem is. any parade is a public event, so there are no age ristrictions. however, seeing ur only 16, i would recommend u go w/ older people (parents, friends, ect.) b/c its never-the-less dangerous to be out in a city by urself, there are a lot of bad people out there, n should realy just take care of urself.
best wishes n good luck!

If i had a teenager and they express to me that their gay basically i will let them know i will love them and always be there for them I WOULD NOT LET THEM GO TO PRIDE FESTIVAL ALONE OR JUST WITH FRIENDS however i would go with them and support them and have fun meet the friends enjoy the moment together....i apologize about the caps but i watch the news a lot and so much crime going on these days so keep your family close and near without suffocating them
