i got a lyan acoustic guitar package for christmas and it comes with several thing including a strap but i dont know where to put it like there is a whole to put the loop around but then there is a lace where do you tie it?

hmm yes, the strap goes on either side of the guitar's main body.
however, most guitars dont have those pegs that you need to strap.
you will have to buy strap pegs at a guitar store.
i went to guitar center and the people there explained to me how to attach those pegs.
its basically a small screw in attachment that you will need to buy to use the strap.

A lot of acoustic guitars don't have two pegs to put the strap on!!
They usually have one on the bottomside of the body! Most guitar players I've seen, put the other side of the strap, tied to the nut, on the fretboard side of the guitar, up close to the tuning keys!! Just notice on TV and you'll see how they sometimes have them tied like this! I've used shoestrings, or leather laces!

the lace is for your cord. it holds up the cord so that it doesn't unplug from your guitar. put the cord through the lace before plugging it in.
