Yes that is the thing with time machines, the hyper drive accelerator disassembles itself. Seems to be a glitch, and the time machine guys have been scratching their heads about that for some time (no pun) now.
Personally I prefer the Tardis to the Time Machine, much roomier and my companions are highly entertaining.

increase the strength if the temporal field generator to increase the protection of the machine from the time warp. I estimate that a 40% increase should do the trick because the machine is only disassembling itself and the individual parts are not being broken down into their raw elements.

no its not the flux capacitor...
you might only be able to go back to when you made your time machine because before then it doesnt exist if... JUST DO NOT TRAVEL back in time BEFORE you were born otherwise you will dissemble your sel and disapear

if it always disassembles it self then maybe you should take things with you so you could fix it
