congrats!!! I'm currently a freshman in college! I'll admit it's nerve-racking but don't worry! Join clubs to make some friends...find people who you have things in common with! don't wait until the last minute to study...if you know you have a test on friday...maybe start looking at it over the weekend before! but don't stress too hard over the studying part! enjoy yourself as well and have a good time!...good luck! :)

Congratulations on being accepted at tne college of your choice. The best advice I can give you is to study hard. The professors won't be like your highschool teachers. They will treat you like an adult and expect you to do the assigned work without any reminders. Be sure to check each class syllibus when you get it to know what will be expected of you. Pay attention in class and do all assignments. Join academic, sport, or social groups that interest you to meet people with the same interests you have. Try to avoid the drinking party crowd that think college is all fun and games.

The best advice I can give in order to do well, from my experience, is to go to every single class and not skip unless you absolutely have to. I always hated going to class and I would skip all the time so I could sleep in and I didn't do well those semesters. This semester, I forced myself to go to every single class and I got straight As. Don't let yourself fall behind on work because it will pile up and the stress will get to you. If you think you might need help in a subject, talk to the professor right away and don't put it off - they always want to help you do well. Good luck!

Go there to learn, not to party. Watch out for the freshman 15. Pay attention to your studies, you can act like a fool when you're out of school and paying your own way.

Have fun, dangit.

did you get into the school of your dreams? you should always have a backup. i wanted to get in NYU but instead i am a freshman in Hunter (medical university). i am still happy. even though i didn't go to NYU. you should always have a backup my heart was set on NYU too but it looks like i didn't have enough extra curriculum activities most likely because i have a 94 average in highschool.
