I don't think people are reading your statement. A Child should be taken away from both the man and woman. Once read a case where the baby was killed by the father and the mother had let the father torture the baby since birth. If the Women let it happen she should be punished also.

I am sorry I would never let a man put a hand on me or my child...I would be in jail for kicking his butt or killing him. As far as money I dont want someone elses money and they will not get mine. I am a strong woman and do not need a man to complete me...some women feel that they need someone to make them whole....I have my children and thats good for me_

Definately.Hed be the jerk and shed be the idiot.Its one thing to let him beat you,but when he gets enough of that and starts on the kid,hes done.Beating the wife should have been a clue that the kid would be next.

The child should be protected A.S.A.P. the mother needs help and she should have her abuser arrested for her child and herself. I think this person is clearly messed up and CPS should be called to protect the child from both.

what bothers me even more are the ones who say their husband beat them like 4 months ago and now they want to do something about it...like yeah...ok! maybe if you did something about it 4 months ago you wouldnt be feeling this way now.

its wrong, but is there another answer to this question really, even men who hit women thin it is wrong.
And for the recocrd its not just men who hit women, Women are also guilty of beating men.
