Am I wrong in asking my girlfriend to stay away from drugs? I only want her to be safe and I've had many friends go down that road, but she only thinks I'm trying to control her. Thanks in advance.

She's going to do what she wants when it comes to using drugs. If you ask her not to, she will hide it from you. If it worries you so much, you probably should find another girlfriend because she will use them if she wants to with or without you. It's not wrong of you to ask her, i just don't think it will do any good.

You can ask, but she will only get off drugs when they do not work for her anymore, and she is right you are trying to control her, I might suggest you get in touch with a drug councillor and speak to them, this is a very difficult relationship to be in

Um, no. You'd be wrong if you were encouraging her to do something that would be HARMFUL to her health. You're doing the right thing. If she can't see that, then honestly that is her own problem. She may be unable to see or accept genuine caring from another person.

you are not wrong or controlling her when you ask her to lay off the drugs...
i hope she listens to you and gets off drugs

You can try but you cant control what she does.You can keep an eye on her and the slightest sign of trouble you can tell her parents so they can help.

well if she wants to use drugs...you might want to get a new girlfriend with a character that is not self destructive...do you really want to waste your time on a girl like that...

no. you just care about her. it's actually wrong of her if she doesn't respect your feelings about it. talk to her about it more. tell her how much you care about her and that you just don't want anything bad to happen. i hope she'll care enough about you to stay away from drugs, but more importantly i hope she learns to care more about herself. good luck=]
